NYC woman Shailyn Souffrant charged with assault over subway slashing

A girl was arrested Tuesday for allegedly slashing one other straphanger as a result of she was consuming on a Brooklyn practice earlier this month, police mentioned.

Shailyn Souffrant, 22, was charged with assault over the underground violence aboard a D practice at about 10:30 p.m. March 16, based on cops.

The practice was approaching the Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue station when Souffrant approached one other girl, 33, and requested her to cease consuming, based on police.

When she didn’t comply, the suspect pulled out a knife and allegedly slashed her on each side of her face, cops mentioned.

The sufferer went to NYU Langone Hospital Brooklyn in secure situation.
