A person wished for allegedly assaulting and critically injuring his 2-month-old child in Massachusetts fled the state and was arrested by authorities inside Manhattan’s Port Authority Bus Terminal on Monday night time, sources stated.
Avery Pollock, 28, was captured on the busy terminal by Port Authority police and the FBI whereas ready to board one other bus to Houston, Texas, regulation enforcement sources stated.
The FBI had been alerted to the case by the Pittsfield police in Massachusetts, who discovered Pollock hopped onto a Greyhound bus following the assault en path to New York Metropolis, sources stated.
Pittsfield police had an arrest warrant out on Pollock for assault and battery on a toddler.
The infant suffered mind accidents from the assault and was listed in important situation.
Pollock was being held in custody in New York whereas he awaits extradition to Massachusetts to face costs.
