Daughter’s ex-boyfriend eyed in NYC man’s fatal shooting: cops

A 72-year-old man died weeks after he was shot in his Queens dwelling — and investigators are eyeing his daughter’s ex-boyfriend in connection to the slaying, police stated Thursday. 

Gladstone Barrett, 72, was blasted within the chest and proper hand inside his Springfield Gardens dwelling on Man R. Brewer Boulevard close to 146th Street round 3:10 p.m. April 1, cops stated. 

He was rushed to Jamaica Hospital Medical Middle, the place he was pronounced lifeless on Tuesday, authorities stated. 

Police imagine Barrett was concerned in a dispute along with his daughter’s former beau when he was gunned down. 

Nobody had been arrested as of Thursday morning, and the investigation is ongoing, police stated.
