1 dead, 2 hospitalized from tree falling on New York’s Palisades Parkway

A pickup truck passenger was killed Sunday when a tree fell on the car on a parkway in New York’s northern suburbs, a report stated.
The freak accident occurred within the northbound lanes of the Palisades Parkway close to Exit 16 in Rockland County at about 4 p.m., News 12 Westchester reported, citing police.
Three folks have been contained in the crimson truck when it was struck by the falling tree.

The entrance seat passenger was killed and the motive force and rear passenger have been hospitalized, the report stated.
Pictures from the scene present the mangled stays of the car that veered off the street through the accident.

Police closed off the northbound lanes of the parkway for a number of hours as they investigated and cleared the crash.
