Second suspect arrested in anti-gay NYC bodega attack

Cops busted a second suspect in connection to the hate-fueled assault on two males inside a Brooklyn bodega earlier this month, authorities mentioned early Tuesday. 

Christopher Clemente, 37, was busted at 5:50 p.m. Monday and charged with tried homicide, theft, assault, aggravated harassment, harassment and legal possession of a weapon — all as hate crimes — in connection to the brutal Sept. 4 assault, police mentioned. 

The victims had been shopping for meals when Clemente, Jonathan Carter, 31, and a 3rd suspect beat them with a glass bottle and a screwdriver and robbed them of an iPhone and money — all whereas making homophobic feedback, police mentioned. 

The older sufferer was handled at Woodhull Medical Heart for a puncture wound on his chin and a minimize on his lips, cops mentioned. 

The youthful sufferer went to the Kings County Hospital Heart with a minimize on his proper hand and shoulder.
