Minneapolis firefighters rescue man who repelled 85 feet down storm drain

MINNEAPOLIS – The Minneapolis Hearth Division rescued a person who repelled 85 ft down a storm drain shaft and received caught early Friday.

Hearth crews lower via the fencing, arrange a high-point anchor rope rescue system, and scaled down over the sting to rescue the person, the fireplace division stated. 

Fire rescue crews secured him into a rescue harness and hauled him up and out of the storm drain.

Crews then reached the sufferer, and confirmed he wasn’t injured. They put the person in a rescue harness and hauled him up, out of the storm drain.

The hearth division didn’t say why the person repelled down the shaft.
