Isaiah Stokes who appeared on ‘Law and Order’ indicted for brazen NYC murder

A TV-actor who has appeared on “Legislation & Order” and “Boardwalk Empire” was indicted for homicide within the broad-daylight taking pictures of a person killed as he sat in his Jeep in Queens, prosecutors stated Friday.

Isaiah Stokes, 41, is accused of ambushing 37-year-old Tyrone Jones on the afternoon of Feb. 7 in Jamaica and taking pictures him almost a dozen instances, the Queens District Lawyer’s Workplace stated.

Stokes, who lives in Jamaica, was arraigned Friday on a three-count indictment charging him with second diploma homicide and weapons possession.

Surveillance footage allegedly confirmed the actor getting out of a car close to the intersection of Linden Boulevard and two hundredth Road after which approaching the motive force’s aspect window of a parked white Jeep Grand Cherokee and firing 11 photographs, prosecutors stated.

Jones, who lived a few mile and a half from the scene, was pronounced lifeless by EMS.

Prosecutors didn’t say what they imagine led to the slaying.

Stokes, who faces 25 years-to-life in jail if convicted, is ready to be again in courtroom on Monday.

“The defendant is accused of unloading almost eleven photographs throughout this brazen  afternoon taking pictures,” Queens District Lawyer Melinda Katz stated in an announcement.
