Capitol police officer Eugene Goodman, who risked his life to guard members of Congress when a mob of offended Trump supporters stormed the constructing on January 6, escorted Vice President Kamala Harris to the inauguration. Goodman additionally received a promotion: He’s now the performing deputy Senate Sergeant at Arms.
